Jake Paul Returns to Boxing Against Doumbe

Jake Paul has announced his return to boxing, set to face Cedric Doumbe on December 24 at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. This match will be an eight-round contest in the cruiserweight division. Paul last fought in December 2025, suffering a knockout loss to Anthony Joshua, marking his first defeat in boxing.

In remarks about his upcoming fight, Paul expressed his anticipation, stating, “Cédric Douchebag was calling me out two years ago after knocking some dude out in 9 seconds. Now you get your chance. This isn’t kickboxing; this is boxing.” He emphasized his return and willingness to face a formidable opponent in Doumbe, a decorated kickboxer who has transitioned into MMA.

Doumbe, known for his knockout power with a 100% knockout rate in MMA, also responded, asserting that Paul has never faced a challenge like him before. The fight promises to be a spectacle as Paul aims to regain his footing after a rough defeat.
